Passion
Passion is an intense internal joy connected to a person or experience. Passion is the tingle of excitement we feel when something touches our soul. Passion is the secret to happiness. “Follow your Bliss” The immortal words of scholar Joseph Campbell ring as true today as they did 20 years ago. What is it that makes you the most happy? Which people, which experiences, and which emotions? Wherever you find blissful passion, always cultivate these situations. Passion is a guidepost leading you directly to your purpose. And purpose is where we discover meaning. My favorite shirt I ever had I found in a tiny T-shirt shop on Bleeker St in Manhattan and it said, “The meaning of life, is to give life meaning.” This is one of the most profound sutras I have ever read. The only way to discover meaning is to create it. This is the beauty of life, everyone gets to create their own meaning for it. No one else can tell you your purpose. No one else can tell you what gives you passion. When you discover the courage to follow your bliss all of life will smell like a rose and every movement will feel like a dance. When passion leads your step, fear and doubt have no where to live. Use your intuition and follow your passion to discover your purpose and give meaning to everything you experience.
